GameToad have high ambitions to give good support promptly, but we are also a small enterprise. Rest assured that we do not ignore any serious requests from our registered customers, but sometimes there might be a slight delay. (Since we are located in Sweden we might be asleep when you e-mail us.)

Also before contacting us, please consider these points:

  • Most problems are caused by old drivers on the users computer. Foremost of these are outdated versions of DirectX, which is a graphics and multimedia library freely available from www.microsoft.com/directx . Write 'dxdiag' in the command line ('Run' in the 'Start' menu) to get information about your DirectX version. All Gametoad products require at least 8.0.
  • The advertisements haven't disappeared and the program still behaves like the demo version. That is probably because it is the demo. Make sure you are running the program from where you installed the full version and that you actually did install it. It might be prudent to first uninstall the demo version and then reinstall the full version to avoid any problems.
  • You didn't recieve an email after ordering a product. Emails are dispatched automatically so if we received the order you should have gotten it. If you wrote the correct address it is possible that your account have spam filtering that mistakenly removed the mail. Once you have identified the problem please contact us again. Also note that the text of the email is displayed on the order page during purchase.
  • Before contacting us with bug reports please make sure that the problem is a real reoccuring error and not a one-time event that can't ever be recreated. If you can't find it we surely can't either. Please begin with reinstalling the pruduct, especially if you have modified or moved files (which you should never do).
